About three years ago I organized a team to participate in the Revlon Run Walk in New York City. The Revlon Run Walk raises money to support cancer research and treatment.
In 2004, "Team Jersey" consisted of around 30 people and as a team, we were able to raise a little over $6,000. In 2005, we increased our membership to over 70 people and raised over $14,000. We managed to beat all of our goals in 2006, with almost 100 members and $16,600 raised in donations.
I must thank my Google colleagues, as their contributions at the bar event in 2006 allowed us to exceed our goal!
